My Sympathy Is With The Teacher

The fact of the matter is that a teacher who would physically attack a child is a greater concern than a child who screams at a teacher. You're not mentally sound, though (and thank y thank you for alerting me to that), so you can't comprehend that...

Notice the 10-hour gap between then and now. I essentially left you with plenty of time to go look for a spine. You clearly didn't find anything I'd wager.

The fact of the matter is that a child who grows up without suffering any repercussions for their unruly behavior will be a far greater concern in the future to society than any teacher who popped them on the wrist with a small stick.

As far as my mental state is concerned, physical punishment kept me out of jail, and it taught me respect for my parents and other adults. Some kids respond to the passive method, and some don't, and they actively resist it. Corporal punishment is the next option.

Spare the rod, ruin the child. Keep that in mind before you critique my mental state.

No wonder our education system is shot. Teachers are being verbally and physically assaulted by students but aren't allowed to fight back.

The parents don't seem to care in most cases, and the ones that do are never notified of the kid's behavior.

Kids past 4th and 5th grade are not being taught the real-world consequences of their behavior toward adults and it shows in American society.

I was once when I was a teacher and I dealt with it without violence..
