Actually, it was the War that ended the depression. Taxes went through the roof to pay for it. Tell you what, I still haven't seen any math from you. Are you going to do some or are you just going to be Barbie and say that math is hard?I would impose massive taxes on the rich and spread the wealth around. That is how Roosevelt ended the Great Depression and got reelected three times.
In case you've forgotten, the question is, how much do you think you could get by taxing the rich more compared to the current budget deficit, and what are you going to do when the rich make their wealth and income (different things) disappear?
Also, if you want to bring back FDR's tax rates, bring back the deductions as well. I'd like to deduct credit card interest.
