I don't know what cases you are referring to. I do know the only lawfare that happened with respect to the cases against trump ended up preventing him from having to have the evidence against him presented in a court of law.

The docs case included the open and shut charge trump refused to comply with a subpoena for the return of the docs in his possession. He was irrefutably guilty of that count in the indictment. Which is why Cannon, a trump sycophant, knew she had to find a way to never let the trial begin.

Do I really NEED to refute the supposed "evidence" of Trump's guilt? Appeal courts have been doing that all along! The legal system in New York is corrupt. The prosecutors distort the law so they can bring charges. Judges are blatantly biased. Their rulings are totally one sided. Those rulings were always going to be tossed by higher courts but justice was never the goal here anyways, Berg! This was always about tying Trump up in court so he couldn't campaign and forcing him to spend millions on his defense. This was about being able to call him "convicted felon" in the middle of that race!

You sound like a person who has assiduously avoided reading the overwhelming evidence contained in Smith's indictments. The lawfare that happened with respect to the two cases Smith brought is what allowed trump to escape accountability for his crimes.

Oh, I read it. Smith had no real world evidence. It was all make believe. He may go to prison along with the rest.

You keep clinging on to falsehoods. What happens when a person adopts falsities into their personal belief system? Then they have to keep creating new falsehoods to cover up for the evil seed. It's not pretty.

And we can't blame people too harshly. We are all human. If someone (like berg80) ate of a poisoned apple, it is not their fault. We must be able to lay them down gently and allow them compassion and also allow them to recover their dignity.

President Donald Trump was almost certainly bound for prison until he won the 2024 election, according to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who previously served as the Republican’s personal lawyer.

“Is it an accurate statement to say he either wins in ‘24, wins the White House — it’s either the White House or the big house?” Fox News anchor Sean Hannity asked Blanche on an episode of the Hang Out with Sean Hannity show that was released on Tuesday.

I have long maintained trump's primary motivation for his 2024 re-election campaign was not using the presidency to make money, which he has done in spectacular fashion. And not enacting the radical Project 2025 agenda he claimed to know nothing about. Rather, the goal was to stay out of prison. Todd concurs.

It explains a lot. Like why he said he doesn't care that Americans are being financially squeezed at the pump due to his Iran War. Why he's preoccupied with building ballrooms and arch's but not solving the country's problems. After achieving the goal of staying out of prison everything else, including doing his job, is just plain unimportant.
