I've survived 10 presidents, working on number 11.
In retrospect, not a damn one of them was worthy of the job.

Okay, that's just flat-out sad. Nobody?? :eusa_eh:

I remember being unable to find a customer to buy my houses from 1978 til 1980, 17 pct inflation and 21 pct interest rates, and being forced to sell a spec home on contract for 8 pct while paying 20 to the bank at first (continuing for 5 years), and by the spring of 1981 I was building two large new homes and barely, by the skin of my teeth had avoided personal bankruptcy. Without the president who was then in office I dread to think how things would've turned out for my country, my fellow citizens, and myself and family.

Btw, I've seen 13 individuals serve as president, 17 presidential elections, voted in 12, and for the winner in 7 of those races. For their times and the situations they faced, not considering foibles and peccadillos, I rate them as follows:
Roosevelt B,
Truman B/C
Eisenhower B/C
Kennedy B-
Johnson B/C
Nixon B/C
Ford C
Carter C-
Reagan A/B
Bush B+
Clinton B+/C-
Bush B+/B
Obama C
