Most Americans say Supreme Court should uphold Roe, Post-ABC poll finds

“A majority of Americans say the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that established a constitutional right to abortion, a Washington Post-ABC News poll conducted last week finds.

With the Supreme Court poised to overturn the right to abortion, the survey finds that 54 percent of Americans think the 1973 Roe decision should be upheld while 28 percent believe it should be overturned — a roughly 2-to-1 margin.”

Hence the tyranny of Republican minority rule.
So you don’t want courts to follow public opinion polls instead of the Constitution?

Women and men have control over their bodies. There are many birth control choices for both genders to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Be proactive, you don't have to kill the child.

The public opinion isn't supposed to be a concern of the supreme court. They exist to interpret the law and nothing else.

So what people think doesn't matter, only the law.

For someone who claims to have this vast constitutional knowledge, you sure seem lacking. The ruling did not end abortion, it just gives the state back thier Constitutional authority over a state issue.

Roe vs Wade should have limitations and not be tossed and this is a State to State issue and you need to pass the ERA and add abortion protections in it and if not then I apologize you have no right telling another state what they can or can not allow…

If Roe does get rescinded by the court, people living in red states that have trigger laws ready to go that will ban abortion in their state, need to understand that they will see a baby boom of people of color like they couldn't possibly imagine.

The white women and teenage girls will still find the money and a way to travel to a blue state.

It's been fun watching the media and fellow baby murdering supporters lose their minds this past week.

A nice break from you creeps trying to groom the ones who managed to be born.

Anyone else seeing a pattern?

Funny, I don't recall you people getting in a tizzy over the Democrats on the court, along with Roberts, bastardizing our Constitution by claiming the federal government has the authority to force you to buy a product you may or may not want.

Most Americans didn't want faghadist marriage either, you commies didn't care. You also didn't care in 1973 when most Amercians opposed abortion one demand. At least faghadist marriage doesn't kill anyone.

.

Most Americans are too stupid to give a fuck about what they think.

Anyone with an IQ under 110 should not even be allowed to vote.
That rules out about 98% of the people on here...I bet.
