Missouri law prevents divorce during pregnancy – even in cases of violence

how so? if a woman has to stay married, then every thing her spouse does can affect her, financially to criminality.

it also seals in the guys responsibility for the child as said child is born before the divorce is finalized.

Not just the biological parent, but the legal parent as well.

I just read about it. Makes you wonder what other shit still lurks out of sight.
America is held back by anti women laws.

find a copy of the book, "the Trenton Pickle Ordinance."

it lists hundreds of laws, still on the books of totally insane laws.

(BTW, the Trenton Pickle Ordinance made it illegal to pour pickle juice on trolly tracks)

Again we see the law of unintended consequenccs. Why are there no exceptions to this nonsense ? Why is it so important for little men to control every aspect of womens lives. ?

Maybe the dark underbelly of US life should be cleansed by sunlight ?
And dragged out of the dark ages.

That's barbaric.

Not when they are separated. Hell, a divorce case involving issues of child support/custody, property division, etc… will probably take over a year anyway. Moreover, and this will probably come as a shock to you, the woman can get a restraining order against her husband. It happens all the time.

You haven't studied domestic law. The State is not a party to the contract. People marry each other. All the State does is register the contract.

A state employee can perform a marriage ceremony. You should study up on laws

I know we are letting men dominate in women's sports.

That makes them part of the contract. It's why they have special jurisdictions in special courts.
