Worshiping the Christian God as the pagans worship THEIR gods IS "off the table's for serious Christians.
Wouldn't it be better to follow the first century church who were His contemporaries than to adopt pagan worship practices given by the Catholic Church?

Again:
"You SHALL NOT worship the Lord your God as the nations around you worship their God's"
Don’t be a Catholic. Problem solved.

There is no sin in spreading joy and charity in celebration of that.

There is no sin in spreading joy and charity by those who don't believe it.

that - being the claim of christianity jesus was a jewish messiah denied by them and somehow was put to death by the jews and brought back to life by the heavens ... all for their birthday.

and those who know there will never be from the heavens someone sent to save anyone as is their claim in response to noah.

a play on words - there is no sin ... joy and charity for everyone.

You have nothing to back up your claim except for your opinion.

Then they said, “Let us make life in our image, in our likeness, the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky the livestock and all the wild animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground.”

the 1st century repudiation of judaism ... false commandments, heavenly personifications.

not anyone's fault but your own for being so ill informed.

or have you the tablets claimed by moses etched in the heavens - they destroyed - before being witnessed yet appear in all three desert bibles, proving all three religions are forgeries ...

I see very few Christians practicing what they preach.
What do you think is being preached? Christians are taught national borders are a good thing and should be enforced. Christians are taught to welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless. Christians are taught marriage is between and man and a woman, abortion is not a good choice, while remaining non-judgemental when people exercise their free will and make decisions we cannot favor.

Given this, the parameters by which Christians struggle to work within, why do some non-Christians think Christians are failing at a very easy task?

If a Christian cannot correct the errors of another supposed brother, there is a problem. If you love your Traditions more than accepting the clear word of God, are you a Christian? I TRY to appeal to your Christian identity rather than shake the dust off my feet and leave a brother to his sins. It is what we are commanded to do/

That’s not what you are doing. You are seeking out unnecessary conflict. Go evangelize the Jews.

The only errors we are to correct our brothers in are those which harm themselves or others. We have no authority to tell another what he/she must think or believe nor are we to judge the status of another's relationship with God.

Certainly we should not judge those who celebrate Christmas even if we ourselves choose not to do so. They are harming neither themselves nor anyone else and I rather think it likely God appreciates acts of love that are carried out however that is done.

Like I said.

You have nothing.

Remember the Sabbath to keep holy
You shall not kill.

christianity as a heavenly religion is a joke - hand in hand their creation to keep holy - do not kill ...

but whats more important to them - eggnog and butter scotch.

Who else knows the Christ Child!?
'Dear Lord Baby Jesus, or as our brothers in the South call you: 'Hey-suz'. We thank you so much for this bountiful harvest of Dominos, KFC, and the always delicious Taco Bell. I just want to take time to say thank you for my family: my two beautiful, beautiful, handsome striking sons, Walker and Texas Ranger, or TR as we call him. And, of course, my red hot smokin' wife Carley, who is a stone cold fox, who if you would rate her ass on 100, it would easily be a 94. I also want to thank you for my best friend and teammate, Cal Naughton Jr, who's got my back no matter what...Dear Lord Baby Jesus, we also thank you for my wife's father Chip. We hope that you can use your Baby Jesus powers to heal him and his horrible leg. It smells terrible and the dogs are always botherin' with it. Dear Tiny Infant Jesus...' -Talladega Nights.

you missed the point.

15th post
We always grew up with Christmas trees and Santa Claus presents by the tree!

Magical times~🥰
I can understand why those of different faiths would treat their children to different delightful traditions. But while I accept the parents' choice in the matter, I always feel sad for Christian children who are denied the joy and magic of all that.

“I like to picture Jesus in a Tuxedo T-shirt, 'cause it says, like, 'I wanna be formal, but I'm here to party, too.' I like to party, so I like my Jesus to party.... I like to think of Jesus like, with giant eagles' wings and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an Angel Band, and I'm in the front row, and I'm hammered drunk...”- Talladega Nights

some say that those magic things are just lies.
but then fairy tales and poems and novels are also lies. 😒

It is the difference between allowing some fantasy, concepts of magic, imagination and pleasure in mythology etc. versus demanding absolute fact/literalness. By the time they are in elementary school, pretty much all children have figured out that Santa, just like fairies and fairy godmothers, is just a lovely myth created for the enjoyment and pleasure of children. Fortunate are those who love and enjoy the magical traditions of Christmas their whole lives.

I've never seen a study on it, but I do think children who are allowed to experience and enjoy mythology are far more likely to be critical thinkers, creative, and innovative than children who do not experience that or who are encouraged to treat it scornfully.
