Zone1 Could Bill Gates have a BIAS against TREES and plants due to his beliefs on how to save the environment?

Is it just my imagination or could Mr. Bill Gates be BIASED AGAINST TREES AND PLANTS due to his idea on how best to save trees and plants and fish and birds over a longer term such as five to ten centuries?

After all....
if you really believe that a world population of about six and a half BILLION in 2010 must be reduced down to two or three billion people...... then TREES AND PLANTS are an enemy......
because trees and plants would tend to be useful in assisting HUMANS to SURVIVE VS BEING DEPOPULATED?

I have been told that my 2007 submission for the twenty five million dollar "Virgin Earth Challenge" was quite funny.

I have to plead guilty that that was one of my major objectives. I felt a duty at that time to get people to think outside of the little green, or red, or orange or blue political box that BigMedia seemed to be cramming all of us Canadians down into?

I believe that fairly good humour can be fairly serious all at the same time. That was indeed my objective. Do you think that this writing is both funny as well as basically serious or accurate?

Our environment is obviously undergoing major changes, and I believe that trees have a vital role in the atmospheric balance. Trees possess the ability to absorb much of the incoming energy. Gradually, trees that have absorbed energy submerge beneath the ground and turn into coal. Mankind is presently consuming unprecedented amounts of energy. Instead of storing the energy, like nature, we are releasing it into the atmosphere. Therefore, an international effort must be made to stop cutting down trees and to plant as many more as possible.

Energetic matter is in perpetual transition, and humans, who are also the product of energetic matter, similarly lack stability. The same holds true for our entire planetary system. Therefore, the Earth will always be subject to change, be it to our benefit or detriment.

In previous articles, I wrote on the creation and constant release of energetic matter and that mankind must learn to exploit phenomena such as earthquakes and hurricanes. Furthermore, we must reduce our reliance on energy sources such as coal and oil, which the Earth has already managed to store. We must reach the point in which these energy supplies are only utilized for medications and other critical needs. The continuity of the human race will depend on our ability to adapt to these changes and maintain the balance between water, vegetation, and energy.

Does the series "Young Sheldon" remind you of a possible "Young Elon" as much as it does me?

Through his lecture "Innovating to zero" Mr. Bill Gates became something of a poster boy for Neo-Malthusian Economic Theory and philosophy. I believe that Mr. Elon Musk and Mr. Bill Gates are destined to collide, [I believe that Elon Musk is going to allegorically mop the floor with Bill Gates, [partly due to the fact that I am convinced that the supposed break up of President Donald J.
