Zone1 Mary's sinlessness

Your conceptual beliefs are meaningless because you are not being led by the Holy Spirit.
How do you know I'm not led by the Holy Spirit? I've been given the Gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands by those in authority of the Priesthood to do so. I can testify by the Holy Ghost that God lives and speaks again to his servants the Prophets and Apostles in these the Latter-days. The Book of Mormon is the true and fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I've taken the James challenge and received the testimonies I've shared with you. "If any of you lack wisdom ask of God, with real intent, faith not wavering and without a double mind." I challenge you to read The Book of Mormon and do likewise. Until then, the real person not led by the Holy Spirit is you.

In this case, you are trying to explain why a teaching that salvation is found only in the church doesn't mean that someone can't find salvation outside the church.
No. I am pointing out all Jesus' teachings on salvation can be found only in the Catholic/Orthodox Church. It seems you are pointing out that people can be "saved" (i.e. go to heaven) outside the Catholic faith. I quote the parts of the Catholic Catechism that says the Church does not know who, if anyone, is in hell--that is God's judgment. I also point out the Catechism states that while the Church was appointed--and is called--to proclaim the Good News, God's power extends beyond the Church when the Church fails to or cannot reach people.

As you seem to believe "saved" means an eternity in heaven, that falls into your beliefs. You call those shots, and I have no quarrel with what you choose to believe about heaven.

Why do you think I push you so hard on these points of doctrine? When a church tells me that salvation is found ONLY in that denomination, I take them seriously on it and believe they are telling me I don't have salvation because I'm not a member of that church. It would seem that you don't.
I'm merely pointing out that according to what Jesus' said about salvation, you are not currently living salvation. You point out you are saved, and I have no argument with that belief.

Because the Holy Spirit does not go out of its way to seek conflict.

That would mean that you believe Jesus' teachings on salvation are not completely found in the Bible, that we need to go outside Scripture.

You keep acting like I'm missing something by not being Catholic.

I have a solution:

There is no such thing as "sin". Its a childish, magical concept dreamt up by less capable humans living in a more ignorant, more primitive time of our existence and intellectual development.

So just discard this childish, magical idea entirely... and, problem solved!
Yeah, that whole business of things being morally wrong and therefore to be avoided is just so limiting.

I’m guided by the Holy Spirit.

I’m guided by the Holy Spirit.
As am I. I therefore call you brother. I believe we both would agree that the Spirit will not contradict the Word.

The word isn’t the problem. It’s the interpretation of the word that’s the problem. Too many times I see people making interpretations that make God look bad without their even realizing they are making God look bad. All you have to do to know this is true is look at all of the passages devoted to paying lip service to God. And lastly, even Satan quoted scripture.

There you go again. NO, that is not what I believe, and definitely not what I said. That is what you have twisted what I have said into something else that most likely is something you feel you can address.

Here is a thought: Address what I actually said.

No, I am not acting like you are missing something. That is your conclusion which may be based on your own thought that it seems I have found something more by being Catholic.

All of that is true.

This is what I was reacting to:

"No. I am pointing out all Jesus' teachings on salvation can be found only in the Catholic/Orthodox Church."

I can read the Bible for myself. What teachings does the Catholic/Orthodox Church have that I cannot find by reading the Bible?

Have you forgotten the four verses I posted about salvation? All four are in the Bible, so let's approach this from a different angle.

What have non-Catholic Christian churches thrown out? It is not that the Catholic Church has added to what Jesus and the Apostles said. It's that some churches have thrown out a few things here, a few things there. It is not that these churches did not retain some truth, some goodness--it is that the Catholic faith teaches the fullness of the scripture, the fullness of salvation...the fullness of that truth. Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you will not have my life within you.

Next: Remember my question of, Are you a fan of salvation?

I am a fan of music: I am especially a fan of piano music and violin music. I truly enjoy the piano and the violin. And that is as far as it goes. I didn't learn to play the violin. I can play chopsticks on the piano, but that's about it. In other words, I never took lessons in either instrument, never practiced, never made either an integral part of my being. I'm only a fan. I don't want my life in Jesus to be that of a fan, not even the number one fan. I want him as part of my being, and being a part of his being.

Jesus flat out stated the Eucharist was part and parcel of being his life, being a part of salvation. He told us what he wanted of us. Some have decided that what we want to give, what we decide is good enough, outweighs what Jesus asks of us.

Reading? And after that? And more than that? Or, is that all?

As Miriam (proper spelling) and Yosef (proper spelling) are a fiction who cares All these so-called "Christians", talk about the holy myth book as if it was real but ignore immorality and degenerate behavior of 47. He an adjudicated rapist, an adjudicated rapist, a ******* pedophile and convicted felon. Their phony piety is disgusting. They about how much they love their non-existent sky man while they support, defend and vote for a moral degenerate.

Reading? And after that? And more than that? Or, is that all?
I also look to see what others have to say about the Scriptures but have to weigh what they against the Word itself. What I try to avoid is sole dependence on what someone else has to say without looking for myself.
