Typically a call to the police in regards to active criminal activity is the race of the perp since common sense indicates the danger to the cops investigating directly correlates to the race of the perp. For example, the cops will be much more concerned for their safety if the perp is a "black male in his 30's" than an "Asian woman in her 50's."

Back in the day, this Afro American would never have even thought about getting away with murder.
