We were doing quite well with high disposable income and growing wages before the pandemic. Our quality of life was facilitated by inexpensive goods from other countries while our economy grew because of our high tech industries and financial sector.
If we didn’t have free trade policies, our economy would be smaller, our population poorer, and quality of life lower.
Just ask Britain how well Brexit is going for them.

Are you really this dumb? We suffered from catastrophic inflation because both Trump and Biden injected so much excess liquity into the global economy, there were far less products than there was money in circulation.
Only folks that could afford to invest in the market.
During both Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden, the middle class has grown smaller, and the wealth gap has only increased.
