Johnny Somali, well loved youtube journalist of color was sent to the joint in South Korea today for an investigative report that seems to have offended local individuals.

Will President Trump talk to Korean officials to bring this news man back?

Will libs be upset if he doesn't like when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pinched a reporter that was one of their subjects?

Mr. Somali, BTW, is a native born US citizen that the South Koreans are holding.

6 months is even good for him. South Korea is very sensitive when it comes to the north. I think a Korean national would have earned way more prison time.

#1 Having travelled to S. Korea and many other Asian countries, you are ALWAYS required to follow the law.

#2 The man isn't a "journalist" he's an internet troll whose job is to generate clicks, not report the news.

#3 The charges aren't based on "offending local individuals" they are:
  • obstruction of business,
  • distributing fabricated sexually explicit content,
  • harassing staff and visitors at an amusement park,
  • disrupting a convenience store by blasting music and upending noodles onto a table,
  • causing similar scenes on a bus and subway,
  • distributing non-consensual deepfake videos,
  • Somali sparked public outrage in South Korea after posting a video of himself kissing and performing a lap dance on a statue commemorating victims of the Japanese military’s sexual slavery during World War II.
The government asked for 3 years, he got 6 months for being a troll for is ACTIONS.

He's lucky he didn't do that crap in Singapore, they still have public canings. So don't try to make him out as some type of journalistic hero.
