Zone1 Mark of the Beast?

Matthew 27:53 "the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many"
If hell is a story, then so is Matthew 27:53. Am I correct in saying that?
This was a special event, as was the resurrection of Lazarus, who later died 'again' and awaits the resurrection of the just.
And do I take what Paul says with a grain of salt?
2 Cor. 5:8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.
The "then" here is the first resurrection.

That simply does not fit the hell allegory, or that we stay dead, the soul trapped in a rotting body.
The body returns to dust, the soul returns to God for safe keeping until the resurrection.

Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Where is the Kingdom?
Fi

Based on this and other scriptures the Kingdom is the entire material universe as well as the spirit/spiritual dimension. It also appears that God's kingdom will increase forever as well.

Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Some people believe a lot of stupid bullshit.

Putting ashes on your forehead is stupid, and thinking it’s the mark of the beast is even stupider.
Color me stupid.

Maybe saying putting on the ash mark is stupid was mean spirited of me

But anytime anyone talks about “mark of the beast”, and think it’s a real thing, I instantly lose respect

Are you an atheist?

How do you get one person, out of tombs, bodies? Saints, and they?

The body does turn to dust and the soul does return to God. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Paul was right. We go straight up when we die if we have accepted Christ's propitiation gift. There is no need to resurrect us twice. We are already there. At our Coronation.
Those in Abraham's Bosom belonged to God, but no one had yet paid for their sins. That is why they had to wait for Christ to come and get them.

Based on scripture, the phrase "heaven descends to earth and God stays with us" is the New Heaven and New Earth, a vision in Revelation 21 where God's dwelling place is among humanity, and He will dwell with them, making them his people.

When New Jerusalem descends, it will be these dimensions:
The heavenly city has four sides, each with three gates, corresponding to the 12 tribes of Israel. Then he mentions 12 huge foundation stones, which correspond to the 12 apostles. The heavenly city is a perfect cube, each side being 1,400 miles.

John 3:13
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

The "dead in Christ" don't arise until he returns.

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Note that these are definitive statements, not assumptions or wishful thinking.

Your response to that scripture was that it was a special event involving only one person, Lazarus. (post 142).

I asked you:
How do you get one person, out of tombs, bodies? Saints, and they? Yours is singular, the scripture is plural 4 times. How do you reconcile that? You have to replace tombs with tomb. Many with one. Saints with Lazarus, and they with he. And when you do, it changes what the scripture is actually referring to.

And you missed the question I asked about Moses. Is he in the grave?

peel back that tribble on donny's head & you'll shirley find 666 embedded in his scalp.

Carefully reread that post (#142). You'll see that I referenced both events.

IMO, piercings could be called 'stupid bullshit' and tattoos as well. Wearing a rag on your head like a lot of Muslims do or wearing a burka is also 'stupid bullshit.' Except they do it 24/7.
