Yes it does. But CONTEXT MATTERS.
WHO was he talking to? 1st century Christian converts. Converts from paganism. New converts who keep the SABBATH holy. Converts who keep the "Jewish" holy days.

It doesn't say what 95% of Protestants or Catholics think it says.

A lot of things then needed to be ironed out. They were asking Jews to give up the Law that they were born and raised with, and turn to a man. Pagans were asked to give up their idols. There were things Peter and Paul disagreed on, but they agreed on the more weightier issues, that Jesus Christ died in their place and defeated death to come back and prove it.

The flesh is of no avail. We aren’t human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. So whatever we do that harms the spirit does matter.

Satan doesn’t care about those who have little or no faith. He has them already. He goes after the believers hard and spends all his time trying to deceive the good people.

Why do you think Communion and Holy Water would affect you if you were possessed? Because Linda Blair in the Exorcist was affected? That was a movie. The scriptures say the very elect shall be deceived by Satan and his devils. I submit that you are possessed and you can't recognize this.

I think it's too soon to come to a conclusion on this... but as time goes on, more and more I'm thinking that the mark of the beast will have something to do with transhumanism / AI.

I mean, for many years we've been hearing about how they want to 'chip' us. Actually, now that I think about it, I just remembered a very interesting interview with the late Aaron Russo, who said one of the Rockefellers who he was friends with talked to him about the globalist agendas, including microchipping everyone. I'll see if I can find a clip from that interview.

An interesting thing he mentioned is that he was told about a big event (9/11) before it happened... an event that would lead to a series of wars. All the pro-war mainstream folks here really should listen closely to what he says in this interview.
