There IS a very small fraction of births that are sexually ambiguous and NEED "gender correction". That's a pure medical decision. Nothing to do with 47 genders and pronouns and making it Fadish so that the "trans identification" of teens has risen 4000% in the past 8 or 10 years.

THERE is the source of the "problem" and expect a huge rise in future SUICIDES from this "fad" if their parents allow and encourage "gender correction surgeries".

Should also be protections for the kids in having qualified medical panels REVIEW requests that run afoul of ANY law. Preferably with EXCLUDING those in the Psych side of the equation. It's got nothing to DO with MENTAL state. It's a physical argument...

Don't think so.
Any parents who would make surgical changes before puberty, should be arrested in most cases.
The exception would be extreme cases where something has to be done, like hermaphrodites.
And that should require some sort of medical board exemption.
Not just the whim of parents.
