The bill has no cosponsors and is highly unlikely to pass or even come up for vote as currently written. But I strongly approve of the concept and policies to ensure the safety and privacy of women and children.

It is already a crime to deliberately falsify information on government documents. The situation can be remedied when gender information is required is to ask for biological gender at birth.
