The man's employer, packing company Sonoco, said in a tweet Friday that it was made "aware of a terrible incident" at a private community pool.

A white man who called North Carolina police on a black woman who was using a private community pool with her child no longer has a job because of the "terrible incident," his company said Friday.

Global packaging firm Sonoco Products said in a statement that although the Fourth of July incident involving Adam Bloom occurred outside of work, the company does "not condone discrimination of any kind."

It was not immediately clear whether Sonoco fired Bloom or if he resigned. A LinkedIn page in which he had listed his position as a value realization leader was later disabled.

She had a pass, and the dummy got the ass, and then he got the gas.

Good.

Ask his employer.

She had a pass, he got the ass, and the company gave him the gas.

Why does calling the cops on a woman in a pool have anything to do with his employment?
He works at the pool.

I meant "worked".

No he didn’t. He was just another resident and decided to enforce the rules, as he saw them. On people who didn’t belong in his neighborhood. If they had sneaked into the neighborhood then they should have the good grace not to go out in public.

Glad he got fired. I assumed it would be Monday, but nope.

Well that would be even worse if he had no authority to enforce any of the rules or polices however the article states the following

...on Friday, police released audio of Bloom's call, in which he tells a dispatcher that "we have a non-resident that's at the pool that refuses to leave." When asked by the dispatcher who he is, Bloom identifies himself by name and says, "I'm chairman of the pool."
I thought he was a lifeguard or someone appointed by the HOA

He may have been a representative of the HOA or whatever authority was responsible for the pool.

Overstepping his authority, he paid the price.

This is not good. Just more racist black privilege.

He should have waited to see if her pool badge worked before doing something stupid.
