No. The way to drive wages up is for governments take over the vast majority of private companies. Then, pay the worst possible employees $75.00 dollars an hour. While at the same time, do one of the things Nixon did. Put a price freeze in place for whatever products that are made by companies that aren't run by the government.

Also, I will tell you of something else that I can't support. One time I had a friend who had a son who was friends with the son of a landlord. One time the landlord's son told my friend's son, "All my father has to do for a living is collect money." Tell me somebody who's only contribution to society is to collect money isn't a parasite. Did someone give that guy the house that he was renting out? Nope. He worked, sacrificed and saved in order to PURCHASE it. He used his head and provided housing at a price less than a mortgage for someone who could not afford to buy for whatever reason. People who are not parasites take advantage of that and save and purchase homes of their own--some even become landlords. I grant you, fewer and fewer people are becoming landlords because parasites have gotten more rights than the property owner. Hence the homeless problem. Parasites are bad for all segments of the economy. Glad I could enlighten you, although I know the light didn't go on.

Well if you can do that, you can take ouy t a mortgage on a rental property. One that you can divide up into a lot of little apartments and rent them each out. After a while of doing that, you can quit your regular job and just become a money collecting parasite.

Here is another point. Though he was an asshole in many ways, Mummar Gaddafi knew of a better way. By law, he required that every Libyan had a place to live. He also made it illegal for any Libyan to own more than one house. Now, look at it from an employer's point of view. If people don't have to pay rent, they can work for a cheaper wage. Tell me of any employer who wouldn't love to be able to pay their workers less.

It wouldn't be possible for everybody to be a landlord. Neither do all landlords have to deal with the problems you say. Only the slum lords are likely to do so. But still, they manage to make a good living at it. Or they wouldn't be doing it. And here is another thing you might find interesting. There are around 771,000 homeless people in the U.S. Yet there are around 15.1 million vacant homes in the U.S. Also, you tagged my post with the picture and quote by William Casey as "fake news."
