Obama decided that he was going to fund, arm and train Syrian insurgents to overthrow President Assad. Obama helped destabilize Syria, which led to MILLIONS of refugees pouring out of the country and massive suffering and death. What Obama nor Susan Rice could comprehend, apparently, was that Russia was not going to allow Syria to be lost to the jihadists.

I can only wonder what Syria would be today had Obama stayed out of Syria entirely.

Yea, I know. I disagree with Trump's assessment that taking out Saddam was a bad idea. We should have made arrangements with the Shiites to govern the nation immediately upon our occupation. We should have provided them with assistance but our focus should have been on finding Saddam and his sons and then leaving the major metropolitan areas. Our losses in terms of lives and treasure came in the occupation.
