The authority of government to hunt down criminals, punish them, and recover stolen property, is not inherent to government; it is inherent to a right of the people themselves, delegate by them to government. It is better for government to do this, in an orderly and fair manner, than for vigilantes to do it in a less orderly manner.

However, if government refuses to perform this duty, then the right to do so reverts to those who are victims of crimes.

If LIbtARds continue to push their movement to defund, and otherwise weaken the police, then this is the result that can ultimately be expected, that citizens will rightfully take the law into their own hands. If government does not want this to happen, then government has to do its job.
