You claimed the Rittenhouse is obligated to prove that he is an EMT. That claim is dead wrong. Anyone who has ever watched a move or TV show about trials knows that the prosecution is required to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

No one testified that Rittenhouse lied about being an EMT. The marine testified only that Kyle said he was an EMT and that the the marine thought he was 18.

You are obviously a product of the failed public school system. First and most important, the only power the police have is what the people allow them to have. In the US all the power of the government is conferred by the people. The people always have the right to protect themselves and their property. Secondly, he did nothing illegal other than being a minor in possession of a firearm without supervision of an adult.

But jurors need to know why he was there in the first place. He didn't live there. He didn't even live in the state. He went there because there was trouble going on and the jury has to consider that.

In my state he'd likely be convicted, and we are a much more liberal gun state with conservative leadership for years. But when you take a firearm into a violent situation you are responsible for your actions because you intentionally involved yourself in a likely situation that would end up in violence. He knew it, I know it, and you know it. I didn't study the laws of Wisconsin, but I can't believe they are much different than ours.
