1. The Democrat Party is the most recent iteration of the Nazis and the Bolsheviks. All three are socialist/communist/Marxist.
One can only wonder at the any with even a modicum of knowledge of history, voting for policies that have proven failure whenever tried.
2. From today's Britannica:
Deng Xiaoping reinstated
After falling from favour during the Cultural Revolution (1966–76), Deng Xiaoping returned to power on this day in 1977 after the Chinese Communist Party reinstated all his former high posts, including that of vice-premier.
3. If you are a government school grad, you don't know why this is important....but the following from Jung Chang's memoir, "Wild Swans," growing up in Mao's China, might be informative.
"But famine and failure tore the face off the lies of Marx.
Finally, Mao was forced to give up his obsession…and a new leadership with new priorities took over. Party leader Deng Xiaoping remarked, "It doesn't matter whether the cat is white or black, as long as it catches mice." When Mao’s famine was evident, Deng abandoned many orthodox communist doctrines and attempted to incorporate elements of the free-enterprise system and other reforms into the Chinese economy. "Yet the mood of the nation was unmistakably against continuing Mao’s policies. Less than a month after his death, on 6 October, Mme. Mao was arrested, along with the other members of the Gang of Four. They had no support from anyone— not the army, not the police, not even their own guards. They had had only Mao. The Gang of Four had held power only because it was really a Gang of Five.
The new leadership was headed by Mao’s chosen successor, Hua Guofeng, whose only qualification, I believed, was his mediocrity.
In July 1977 Deng Xiaoping was rehabilitated again and made deputy to Hua Guofeng. Every speech by Deng was a blast of fresh air. Political campaigns were to end. Political “studies” were “exorbitant taxes and levies” and must be stopped. Party policies must be based on reality, not dogma. And most importantly, it was wrong to follow every word of Mao’s to the letter. Deng was changing China’s course. Then I started to suffer from anxiety: I so feared that this new future might never come to pass."
You can be educated, or you can vote Democrat......but not both.
