The standard issue for Secret Service agents these days is the 16-round Glock G19 or the 17-round Glock G47. Apparently SS agents aren't trained the same way most law-enforcement personnel are, where they do a magazine dump center mass of body, until the threat is neutralized. If that had been local or county law officers, that would-be assassin would have assumed ambient temperature.
