looking for noncitizens looking to vote in our election.Under your vision, what would ICE be doing there?
their job?I mean literally, what would they be doing?
Their job which is constitutional. Do we have immigration laws or not?STanding there looking pretty, or function would they be performing that is Constitutional?
No, specifically, what would they be doing? Are they going to stand there and demand every person trying to get in line provide a passport or birth certificate? What do you envision them doing that is in line with the Constitution?Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional.
How? What are they going to do? They can't go into the polling location because thats private property, and they need the joy of a warrant.looking for noncitizens looking to vote in our election.
WHAT WOULD THEY ACTUALLY BE DOING? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY DO? I mean, this explains a whole lot.Their job which is constitutional. Do we have immigration laws or not?
Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional. No, specifically, what would they be doing?
Schools, state, and country buildings, where most polling places are, are not private property. How? What are they going to do? They can't go into the polling location because thats private property...
Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional.WHAT WOULD THEY ACTUALLY BE DOING? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY DO?
So you don't know? Give me an example thats Constitutional at a polling location.Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional.
They can still exclude persons via tresspassing. They can shut the doors on ICE.Schools, state, and country buildings, where most polling places are, are not private property.
Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional. So you don't know?
You're lying. Public places are open to... the public. They can still exclude persons via tresspassing. They can shut the doors on ICE.
They can monitor the area, why does it bother you? How? What are they going to do? They can't go into the polling location because thats private property, and they need the joy of a warrant.
Do you even know?
So physically, what would they be doing? Give me an example. You seem to not be able to provide an example, which infers you don't know how they do their jobs. Again, do you envision them demanding passports and birth certificates from individuals in line outside of the polling place, or what?Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional.
G'head - yell, scream, and stomp your feet some more.
Yes, but they can still restrict law enforcement without a valid warrant, in this case a valid Federal warrant. You're lying. Public places are open to... the public.
Unless the state has a law which says federal law enforcement may be denied entry to otherwise-public state-owned property, they cannot be denied entry.
Clarify, what do you mean by monitor? Stand outside drinking a Starbucks? They can monitor the area, why does it bother you?
"I'm sorry sir - do you have identification that proves you are a citizen" - Poll workerThey can monitor the area, why does it bother you?
Enforcing US immigration law, which is constitutional. So physically, what would they be doing?
Not in the public areas of the building where the general public is allowed access. Like a polling area.Yes, but they can still restrict law enforcement without a valid warrant, in this case a valid Federal warrant.
You envision them standing right next to the poll worker? Interesting."I'm sorry sir - do you have identification that proves you are a citizen" - Poll worker
"No, I do not" - Potential voter
"Sir, we'd like to ask you a few questions" - ICE agent

Enforcing the law
Failing to have citizenship documentation is not probable cause to arrest anyone."I'm sorry sir - do you have identification that proves you are a citizen" - Poll worker
"No, I do not" - Potential voter

No, there has been no proof of 315,000 illegal votes in any Georgia county during any election. Claims of widespread fraud have been repeatedly debunked, and audits have shown that noncitizen voting is extremely rare.
