That WHO guidance was at the beginning of this thing. One of the reasons they said only health care workers and sick people was because there was a shortage of masks. Now? There is a plentiful supply and anyone who wants one can get one. Additionally, that was also before we found out that this virus was mainly airborne. Masks are a good idea to keep yourself safe.

Where is your irrefutable evidence that masks are helping anything?

No, I go into rooms with them all the time. I take guns and knives and pepper spray from them and hold it for them till they leave. I help the nurses pick them up if they fall. I help the ambulance crews transfer them to the bed. And sometimes I have to hold a psych patient down while they give them a shot, so they don't hurt themselves or anyone else.

Brace yourself, I'm gonna hit you with a clue bat..... over 40% of all non fatal assaults in the USA occur in hospitals. Specifically in ERs and behavioral health units. Non fatal makes it sound like no big deal right?
Well the reason they're not fatal is because they are ALREADY AT THE ER.
