1. Sent jobs overseas
2. Broke unions

But hey, if you can't beat em, join them. I'm not complaining for myself, even though if I would have went to work for Ford when I graduated I would have a 30 year pension 3 years ago. Instead I have to work at least another 12 years till I'm 62. Probably I'll have to work till 65 because I won't be able to afford private healthcare as a 63 year old man. So I will have to work 18 more years than I would have had to had I gotten a union job at Ford. AND I wouldn't have spent $20,000 on a bachelor degree. Yes, that's all it cost back in our day. Back when America was great. Affordable college was another thing that made America great for the middle class.

America has always been great for the rich. It's just greater today than it was back when unions were around. And in order for them to get more tax breaks they need to cut social programs that help the poor and middle class. None of this is hurting me. I make $100,000 a year, max out my 401K, save an additional $20K a year on top of that, have no bills, no kids going to school, no student loans, no mortgages. To be honest, I don't know how you middle class people do it.

I don't know how they do it. And think about all the people who make less than $61K and they have kids.

I have no kids, make $100K and it's not like I'm rich. It'll take me another 12 years to have over $1 million dollars. And I'm not counting the $400K I'll probably get from my dad when he dies unless he has to go into a home that costs $6000 a month and he lives for 10 years. Most of you Americans today are not going to get anything from your parents in fact you will be moving in with your kids because you can't afford not to. So your kids will live with you until they are 40 and then you will move in with them when you are 65. LOL. Why don't they just stay in the house? Why move out knowing in just a decade your parents are going to have to move in with you? Lotto mentality is what Republicans have. They hate seeing how much millionaires pay in taxes. And we strategically put them in Dearborn to be a buffer between us whites and the blacks. Literally cut them off from all the economic opportunities.

If you look at the reddest states you'll see the same thing. Located next to the richest white neighborhoods are always a really poor black community that the whites can exploit. They can cut their grass or be their maids but you whites aren't hiring them for the good paying jobs.

If signed by Biden, the day will be the first new national holiday since Martin Luther King Jr. Day was established in 1983.

This is all good but what will this actually do? I already celebrated Juneteenth without the approval of whites. Its not going to reverse the affects of centuries of slavery or the decades of systemic racism Black people have endured in this country. Is it just another "starting point"? If so a starting point for what?

Now this is your Black Independence Day, when whites informed some negroes they were free. You don’t have to celebrate July 4th Independence Day as that is a white holiday now.

The worst enemy anyone has is believing they are a victim instead of knowing they have infinite possibilities in life.

Do you agree that people who live in Canada, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Zimbabway are all victims of their governments? Do you think you would do just as well in Belgium as you would in Ghana?

So you understand that not all governments/economies are equal. What's the difference? The difference is our governments. Some governments let the rich rule. Would you say that's true in Germany or Canada? I wouldn't. You'd call them socialism and I would call your form of government/economy free unregulated capitalism. Free unregulated capitalism has failed us. Oh sure you'll say we never tried it fully but that's a joke. The policies behind unregulated free market capitalism has made the planet dirtier, the rich richer and the middle class poorer.

What made America great for the middle class? Labor laws, unions, overtime, social security, medicare, affordable college because the government regulated it, pensions, high paying union jobs.

Do you see what made America great for the middle class? A big fat huge middle class the world had never seen before. Between social security and unions, workers were paid fairly and they were able to retire. And all these programs you are against.

The rich in this country have always had it great. Just in the 1980's they got greedy and wanted more so they got Reagan to turn a blind eye to illegal employers, send jobs overseas and break unions. Since Reagan, the rich have waged class warfare on the middle class and it's odd you don't see it.

But hey, if you can't beat em, join them. I'm not complaining for myself, even though if I would have went to work for Ford when I graduated I would have a 30 year pension 3 years ago. Instead I have to work at least another 12 years till I'm 62. Probably I'll have to work till 65 because I won't be able to afford private healthcare as a 63 year old man. So I will have to work 18 more years than I would have had to had I gotten a union job at Ford. AND I wouldn't have spent $20,000 on a bachelor degree. Yes, that's all it cost back in our day. Back when America was great. Affordable college was another thing that made America great for the middle class.

America has always been great for the rich. It's just greater today than it was back when unions were around. And in order for them to get more tax breaks they need to cut social programs that help the poor and middle class. None of this is hurting me. I make $100,000 a year, max out my 401K, save an additional $20K a year on top of that, have no bills, no kids going to school, no student loans, no mortgages. To be honest, I don't know how you middle class people do it.

I have no kids, make $100K and it's not like I'm rich. It'll take me another 12 years to have over $1 million dollars. And I'm not counting the $400K I'll probably get from my dad when he dies unless he has to go into a home that costs $6000 a month and he lives for 10 years. Most of you Americans today are not going to get anything from your parents in fact you will be moving in with your kids because you can't afford not to. So your kids will live with you until they are 40 and then you will move in with them when you are 65. LOL. Why don't they just stay in the house? Why move out knowing in just a decade your parents are going to have to move in with you? Lotto mentality is what Republicans have. They hate seeing how much millionaires pay in taxes. They'd hate it if they were rich and had to pay such high taxes. Poor rich people.

You're a sucker. I'm well off and I'm not even buying it. Perhaps because I'm still working class and not quite investor class. I'm a hybrid of both actually now at 50 years old.
