This according to Chatgpt. Mostly Islamic nations it seems.

We remain silent for too long as a society. We need to protect our values and call out others who do not. At what point does trade and making a few bucks outweigh our obligations to G-d?

Country

Primary Concerns

Mauritania
Inherited systems of hereditary slavery and descent-based discrimination.

Afghanistan
Forced marriage and child labor, particularly exacerbated by economic collapse.

Saudi Arabia
Exploitation of migrant workers, particularly in domestic and construction sectors via the kafala system.

United Arab Emirates
Systematic abuse of migrant labor, including passport confiscation and debt bondage.

Qatar
Significant issues regarding labor rights for low-wage migrant workers in infrastructure and domestic roles.

Iran
Forced labor, often linked to state-imposed restrictions and human trafficking.

Sub-Saharan Africa
DR Congo, Eritrea, South Sudan

State-imposed forced labor, child soldiers, and militia-driven abduction.

South/Southeast Asia

North Korea, Myanmar, Cambodia

State-sanctioned forced labor, human trafficking, and state-forced prison labor.

Central/South Asia

Tajikistan, Pakistan
Debt bondage in agriculture (brick kilns) and forced labor in the cotton industry.

What would you suggest we do about this? I know that we`ve invaded and blown up small countries that can`t defend themselves, but should we blow up Cambodia again? North Korea surely has WMDs and other weapons so attacking them is off the table. Our last real military triumph was under CIC Ronald Reagan when we took Granada from Cuban construction workers or whatever the hell they were.

The world should have maintained its position during the Cold War, we have clouded the lines now when we bent for China.

We have a Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Anyone signed to it must adhere to the rules or be thrown out. The U.N has become nothing but a club of crooks without principles.

Our species is doomed.

Not doomed.
But a long way to go towards living by our claimed principles.
Correct on the U.N.; it is worthless. USA should par back our $upport to match our percentage of the world's population. We should then begin eviction proceedings on the use of USA-NYC for UN-HQ. Give them a year to find a new host country.

As far as the American politcal Left is concerned, and they dominate the MSM and public forums, slavery is only "BAD" if it is done by Whites, Christians, Jews, Western Civilization, Free Enterprise (capitalist) economies, and any who closely associate with or emulate such.

All others get a free pass because;

It is their cultural heritage
We should not meddle in the internal affairs of other nations
No one (in the mindset of the Left) gives a damn anyway
It is too hard and uncomfortable to object or take a stand oppossing slavery in the non-Western world
Those on the Left can't envision a solution other than use of military force against the slavery nations
Other (may come to me later)
....
My suggestion would be a firm and hard-line position that the above nations will be;

reduced to the bare minimum of USA diplomatic connections
Ejected from the UN
Cut off completely on trade and investments from the Real Free World
Cut off from Western Communications Systems, internet access, inclusion in international trade and banking
Embargoed and/or blockaded
Given one year to change, remove slavery, or the above goes into effect.
Other actions added to above as I think of them

Become? Nothing has changed--the UN is what it has always been. Crooks without principles---and an international body ostensibly formed to keep world order--WITH NO TEETH.
The UN started out as an admirable organization committed to founding principles c.1945. Between one to two decades later, as the membership grew, it degenerated into platform of third world grievances and extortion on the First World.

The UN has always been a den of spies. Any body that has nearly two hundred members and allows a small minority veto power is corrupt on its face. The US should get out of the UN and get the UN out of the US as a FAILED experiment.

Slavery has been the hot ticket for conquering nations clear back to the Barbarians & Akkadian societies. Even the civilized(for a short time) Greek empire had slaves by the numbers. Slavery has always been & always will be with humanity, as it's in our NATURE.

Because we are trying to prevent it's resurgence here.

Started in the ashes of World War II, as an improvement upon the former League of Nations, veto power members were the Allies collation that won the war. They sought a new and novel approach to avoiding future wars, major ones at least. Only prior historical examples were former empires of single power nations.

Hindsight can be a benefit at times, other times it blinds to understanding and consideration of limited knowledge and resources at the time of the events of the past. Rare is the historian that comes close to emulating the mindset and limited knowledge of the decision maker in the past that they are studying.
