Basically, as subsidy for the military industrial complex financed by American taxpayers. All too often, American troops are being fired upon by weapons made in the USA, and paid for by US Taxpayers.

I'm not normally in favour of military aid to Third World Countries. No good ever seems to come of it, but I'm all for humanitarian aid, and helping people build their economies. That doesn't mean American corporations going in and fleecing the locals, and shipping all profits back to the USA. I mean honest to goodness locally owned and operated business development to build an economy.

The same thing you need more of at home. Faceless managers making decisions on the lives of people they don't know and have never met, never makes for good or compassionate decisions.
