Iran does not have the ability to directly confront the US or Israel, so they use terrorist proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houthis that have killed a myriad of Israelis and Americans over the years, attacking with impunity with no condemnation from the international community.

They have been at war with the US since they took American hostages in 79.

However, if they obtain nukes and a way to deliver them to the US and Israel, they then will have that ability to confront them directly. This is what is trying to be avoided.

I've been wondering that myself. Has anyone interviewed the Iranians? Trump says they are hell bent on making a nuke so they can nuke Israel but I don't believe that. THEY CAN'T HAVE A NUKE. Really? But North Korea can?

I believe Iran has nuclear technology but for energy purposes. Not weaponized. Were they trying to build a nuclear bomb? I don't know. I don't believe Trump that's for sure. And I don't believe Israel. Israel was the biggest supporter of the Iraq war. They loved that 20 year war. Loved us being in it. Having their little brother so close to home.

I want the rulers of Iran to be replaced, but I fear new rulers might be just as bad.
