Another relevant data point which demonstrates the differences between the economic policies of Dems and Republicans.

CA, WA, NY all have less jobs available than there are available workers while much of the country has nearly two jobs available for every potential worker...

Yes, I know there are some outliers like VT, NH, TX. Texas probably has a lot of unemployed illegals.

The map bears a strong correlation with the 2020 election results...

I guess you get what you voted for.

What is perhaps most telling, is that Red states have most people employed, and are creating enough jobs to employ even more. This is likely to lead to further migration from Blue states to Red....

Yeah...

Jobs these days require skills. They're hard to fill in red states where schools are dogs shit and people are dumb as dirt.

Put your mask back on and stay home, Candycorn. It's too dangerous to go to work with the BA.6 COVID variant.

Be smart like your scared Lib friends. Two weeks to flatten the curve.

Wait a minute ... if I open a new business in South Dakota ... and try to hire 30 new employees ... I'll only get 10 ... that's a bad thing ... why folks don't generally open new businesses in South Dakota ... whereas in California, there's 33 new empolyees just itchin' to come work for me ... I should open in these States that have employees, instead of States with few if any employees ...

I'm here in Oregon and we have a desperate and chronic labor shortage ... companies move on because there's no one to hire ... starting about mid-2020 we've had "help wanted" signs in basically all the shop windows, many are PAINTED on the front windows ... Lowe's, Walmart, Safeway, Walgreens, McDonalds, even the local pet shop ...

No housing ...

Look at CA, NY, MD.

Your chart is from 2020, before the Dems destroyed the literacy of children.

In fourth- and eighth-grade reading, only 13 percent of city students are considered proficient or advanced. In fourth-grade math, 14 percent were proficient and in eighth-grade math 11 percent met the mark, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, a federally mandated test from the U.S. Department of Education.

That put the Baltimore ahead of only Detroit and Cleveland, and sometimes ahead of Milwaukee and Fresno, Calif. — areas of the country that also suffer from high poverty and crime.

Dems policies. They work hard to keep the populace needy, and now they have come for the children.

So you think the Democrats destroyed education in all of those red states where they have zero power. And did so in the last 2.5 years. Yeah... you're retarded.

It works the other way around. Tight job market increase wages. Many job seekers will relocate to secure these better jobs.

As you should know, many businesses are abandoning Blue states and relocating to more business friendly ones.

So while your speculation is reasonable, the facts are that the opposite is happening.

As you can see from the chart, Oregon also has fewer available workers than jobs, but it is still aobve average in terms of labor supply.

Jim

It follows. The poorer, less-educated states have benefited more from federal investment:

Well there is that and they also let the companies ass-r**e their states. This is why you have routine factories and plants blowing up in Texas and other red states. Corpus Christi was under a water boil 3 times in 4 years because the plants down there were putting chemicals into the drinking water.

I would like to see these facts ... I'm speaking from my experience as a business owner ... yes, businesses are abandoning Blue States and re-locating across the border in Mexico, or overseas ... where labor costs are cheaper ... who doesn't like $7 a pair school shoes? ...

As you can see from the chart, Oregon also has fewer available workers than jobs, but it is still aobve average in terms of labor supply.

As you can see from every Main St in Oregon ... there's a desperate and chronic labor shortage ...

=====

There's other reasons why businesses don't start up in South Dakota ... and these are the same reasons why there's fewer available workers in South Dakota ... it's cold there in winter ...

Oregon's labor shortages are caused by housing shortages ... and that's by design ... you're better off having all your teeth pulled out in one sitting than trying to convert farmland into residential here ... and no one builds in the forests ...

My point is there's more to business than one chart ... if you need to see all seven colors in the Rainbow Flag, you'll need to open up in Kansas ... just saying ... but if you want to be sunning your self on a beautiful beach on Christmas Day, you'll need to open up in Southern California, and pay the Sun Tax ...

Portland is closed up downtown. SF is closed up downtown. Oakland is closed up downtown. New York is closed up downtown....notice a pattern.

Those jobs are GONE.

And they ain't coming back.

Meanwhile the state with the highest unemployment in the country is Nevada.

And the lowest are tied with New Hampshire.

Go figure.

Nevada is controlled by dems. Lombardo has minimal control.

Hell, Reno decided to get rid of the Air Races. That single event brings 100 million dollars to the region every year.

Portland is now closed downtown, uptown, around town and into the suburbs. The thriving waterfront district is looking like a ghost town. Reminds me of Detroit when things were really bad. Piles of trash everywhere. Graffiti everywhere. Tweaking drug addicts. Illegals. Prostitution. Moms do you really want your kids growing up in a city like that?
