Perhaps their pro-Israel platform was a reason Jesus selected one. But then also, for the first half of the first century, the Zealots were still rather innocuous and fringe.Right .. Simon was called the Zealot.
yes---except when I was in kindergarten and got rocks thrown at me by other little five year old kids---Luke’s gospel tells us that Mary and Joseph laid Jesus in a manger “because there was no room for them in the inn” (Luke 2:7, KJV).
Why don't you post the verses about the innkeeper?
Did you have a happy childhood?

just about EVERY DAY as I walked home from
school. They wore blue plaid dresses and attended the local
catholic school called "St Anne's"-----they insisted
that I killed some person named "Jesus". I was very
shy and did not even tell my mom----I thought I MUST be doing "something" wrong. Later on---
by age 7, I went to a protestant sunday school
several times and colored cartoons of the SAME

who imagined I killed that person also believed that
a bunny brought them jelly-beans on easter. I
attended the public school and got treated to the

I don't know----that's why I asked. I do not
know the word "zealot" which some people
seem to imagine was a "sect" of jews or a
"political party" in Judea 2000 years ago.

I learned "AWAY IN THE MANGER" ----is just a
