Rep. Jim Banks Introduces Parental Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) introduced a Constitutional Amendment to guarantee parental rights as fundamental rights and help defend the long-established right of parents to cultivate the education and upbringing of their children.

Specifically, H.J. Res. 36, would amend the U.S. Constitution to guarantee the fundamental right of parents to choose an alternative to public education and make reasonable choices within public schools for their children, as well as ensures parental rights are not denied due to disability of a parent. This legislation does not apply to a parental action or decision that would end life. Read the full bill text here.

Said Rep. Banks, “Parents ought to have the right to direct the education and upbringing of their children, regardless of where they live. Without fundamentally guaranteeing the parental rights with a constitutional amendment, these natural rights of parents are left to the discretion and interpretation of government bureaucrats and elected officials. As the father of three young girls, I find the continual erosion of parental oversight and care in their children’s lives unacceptable, and I urge my colleagues to join me in solidifying parental rights as a fundamental right protected by the U.S. Constitution.”

Parents can already choose an alternative to public education - it's called private school. If your parents cannot afford private school, they should take out a loan from their local bank to fund it. The government doesn't prevent your kids from obtaining an education somewhere other than a public school. If your credit sucks too much to take out a loan, then stop being a scumbag and pay your bills on time rather than buy cigarettes.

The "upbringing of children" part is just plain silly. The government needs to protect children (who cannot protect themselves) from bad parenting. Children shouldn't have to suffer from secondhand smoke because a parent decides to smoke in the car with their windows up, or can't provide adequate shelter. While I hate big government, there has to be SOME form of government involved to protect children from low life parents.

A lot of rural areas do not have private schools. If you are going to insist on children (and soon if the "Stakeholders" get their way, adults) be all vaccinated then there better be some measures in there to insure that those vaccines will not damage neurons (brain cells) or any other body part. If you insist on shooting up every man woman and child with vaccines then you should not have a problem paying all of their future medical bills including every test available before the vaccine is given to check for genes or allergic reactions that those vaccines may cause that person. If not you are simply playing mad scientist and God all in one shot while you use other people to appease the science cultist. Be prepare to support those families financially too who have been injured without putting them through vaccine court hell.

Lets start a list of all of the medical problems that vaccines can and do cause that you will need to pay for. Those who have more severe damage due to the human experimentation that was done on them will need life long subsistence.

Every single vaccine has ingredients that cause neuron death. That means every single person who receives a vaccine has a certain amount of brain, organ and cellular damage that came along with that vaccine. For some it is more than others. Some damage may not manifest for years from the contamination in the vaccines that has been given to them but that we know the damage is potentially there and does at some point manifest there is not doubt even when it is merely a delayed reaction or just wasn't noticed previously.

Diabetes
Brain damage
Immune deficiencies
Infections
Long term auto-immune diseases
Cancer
Liver damage
Kidney damage
Inter cellular degeneration damage
Damage to the myelin sheath which will bring on Alzheimer and dementia faster
Heavy metal toxicity, these can be chelated but the meds to do so are very expensive and that chelation process will not regenerate the already damaged brain cells
Motor skill damage
Stroke
Heart conditions
Insanity
Depression
Debilitating headaches
Retardation
and on and on and on.....

BTW, get a job and it needs to be one hell of a paying job because to demand vaccines on everyone it is going to cost you.

lol

Clearly most conservatives are truly this ignorant and stupid.

Naysayers, corporations that already made plans on your children and bureaucrats that believe your children are their children to indoctrinate and vaccinate til their hearts desires are filled are going to hate this one.

It’s not ‘naysayers,’ it’s the ignorance and stupidity of conservatives.

These rights are already acknowledged and protected by the Constitution, codified by the 14th Amendment:

“Due process is another area of the 14th Amendment that has had a dramatic impact on individual rights in public education. The Due Process Clause says that states may not “deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” The Supreme Court has interpreted this clause to have substantive and procedural protections. With substantive due process, the 14th Amendment protects a parent’s right to direct the educational upbringing of their child.”

Yeah I am just assuming the Democrats will balk at this because they want to be the obstructionist party.
At least you’re consistent at being ignorant and wrong.

Democrats and liberals have long championed and defended the doctrine of substantive due process which prohibits government from interfering in the personal, private lives of Americans, such as deciding how to educate one’s child.

Indeed, conservatives have been hostile toward substantive due process jurisprudence, seeking to have its case law overturned by the Supreme Court.

There is no protection when you or anyone else forces a parent to choose between the health of their family or public education. Public education is nothing more than an indoctrination tool at this point and in order to get public education a parent must allow their children to be used as human guinea pigs for pharmaceutical companies and mad scientist in many states now. Democrats have been bought and paid for and so have many Republicans on this issue (more Dems than Repubs). The constitution is worthless as our rights to autonomy and self determination are not being protected by the very people that were sent to be legislators for protecting the people and taking care of the peoples business. They have been trashing it at every turn and allowing unelected bureaucrats, corporate entities (stakehoodlums) and NGO's determine what is best for them and their children.
