"It’s clear Trump’s plan to take control of the Strait of Hormuz wasn’t well thought out."

It's becoming more clear that Iran is in chaos.

Nobody is running the show as they fight internally.

Trump is doing the right things and the left can't stand it.

The OP is, as usual, full of the stuff you use to fertilize farm fields.

When America invoked Article 5 in Afghanistan, then promptly forgot about it, you mean?

But no worries, its ingratitude is outweighed by its smugness.
We have much to be smug about

The euros could not prevent trump from taking out Iran’s conventions military although you certainly tried to hinder it

And now we will reopen the Strait of Hormuz without your help also

The founders never wanted the central government to have a standing army that was too powerful. We see why.

Where are we now?

There has NEVER been a war won with airpower alone. Soldiers must root out & kill the terrorist controlling the population & territory. US Soldiers have to wipe out the IRGC & re-open Hormuz quickly, or all the oil producers will know the US can't back it's security guarantees, and abandon the US and the US Petrol Dollar.

Oil Producing Gulf Ally countries are leaving the US system because the US is no longer providing security guarantees, but getting them attacked instead.

US is already allowing dollar swap lines.

This means Trump has lost the war with Iran.
The US goal in this skirmish is not war but destabilization so that the Iranian citizenry can regain control of their country from the religious fanatics. They traded the oppressive regime of the shah for something far worse. The best case scenario is for the US to weaken the current regime and the citizenry elect a gov't that will work cooperatively with the rest of the world.

All you have to do is leave and voilà, you won't be in such a dire strait.

I love how the US role in installing the oppressive rule of the Shah is never mentioned.

Its brilliant... we have defeated Iran's military and their defenses with few US lives and now we are starving Iran and bringing them to their knees without bombs or boots.... all wars should be conducted this smartly.... if you had ever been in combat you would agree... finally we are being smart about war....

How many dead and wounded US military fighting for Israel? Not worth it. Not worth it at all.

How many innocent Iranians civilians wounded or killed? I bet more than the number of Israeli's killed by HAMAS on October 7, 2023

Like you, Trump is inclined to hyperbole.
You also seem to get confused with English.
Iran wasn't "obliterated", just the targets we knew of and 'bombed' appeared to have been. Some of those have been repaired/rebuilt and replaced*. Other potential targets weren't know of at the time.

* One of the pre-attack set-ups was Israel's cyber set-up sending messages to Iran's top military leaders to congregate at a place for what was a false meeting. All the eggs in one basket for easier targeting.
Trump has called outright lies "Truthful hyperbole"

check it out
