Iran Says Any Country Can Pass Through Strait of Hormuz Except US and Israel. US Media Twisting Story

I remember Iran clearly saying the Strait is open to anyone but the countries who are bombing it. But to read about it in the US media this detail is omitted to make it sound like Iran is closing it completely. Which it will do if Trump follows through on his threats.

Iran Shares Strait of Hormuz Update: Any Country Can Pass — Except US and Israel

"Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi pushed back Saturday against the widespread characterisation that the Strait of Hormuz is closed, with a significant caveat. "The Strait of Hormuz is open. It is only closed to the tankers and ships belonging to our enemies, to those who are attacking us and their allies," Araghchi said in an interview with MS Now. "Others are free to pass. Of course, many of them prefer not to because of their security concerns. This has nothing to do with us."

He added that tankers are still moving through the strait, just not American or Israeli ones. The message was clear: Iran is not blockading the world's oil supply, it is targeting its enemies specifically."
Then why do they keep attacking oil tankers from other countries?

Either the IRG has been caught sleeping, or they are heading the warning.

The ships are moving through the strait!

I remember Iran clearly saying
Because they don't lie everyday? LOL

They also said they don't have long range missiles.

They also said they are not seeking nuclear weapons...while threatening to nuke Israel...(even as late as months ago)

They also said they are only firing in "self defense".

They also said they only target military bases.

__

They also "denied" they targeted Diego Garcia bases, as far as 4,000 km...

Iran’s Diego Garcia Attack Happened Late Thursday on the East Coast Iran launched intermediate-range ballistic missiles at the joint U.S.-U.K. military base of Diego Garcia Thursday night East Coast time, according to two U.S. officials. Neither of the missiles hit the base, but the move marked Iran’s first operational use of an IRBM, the Journal reported. (WSJ) [link].
