It will get more and more expensive until the boomers peak in collecting and then reduce as generation x which is behind us starts collecting. Generation X is half the size of the boomers. The Millennials who follow Generation X are twice as large as Generation X. We must spend the resources wisely.

President Bush 43 had the best solution. Cause all citizens to be investors in our system and not use the Feds system. He had 6 systems that caused all citizens to take charge of their retirement and not rely on the Feds. One of his systems is used by the congress. All put citizens in charge of their own retirement.

Most people don't have a 401k, particularly lower income people. Why not give them something better than SS? Bush had the right idea with the partial privatization. The stock market has an average return of 11%. SS has an average return of less than 2%. It's a joke.
