What happened was Trump was warned on election day and prior to it not to get too excited by the phenomenon called "the red mirage."
This is the term used to describe the effect of Republicans casting more old fashioned, in person votes (which register immediately) vs. the counting of mail in and absentee ballots which are generally recorded later. In many states the counting of these other ballots cannot even begin until after the polls close.
It is typical of Trump though, when making up a lie for you MAGAt cultists to run with, for him to take a small nugget of truth in order to wrap the lie around.
In this that is the fact that some ballots by law, get counted later.
But that is not the same thing as "truckloads of ballots arriving in the middle of the night."
