It was not an insurrection

Several states have decided to ban Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential election using Amendment XIV Section 3. "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State Legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

There are at least 2 reasons why this does not apply to President Trump.
1) The president, or candidates for president are not among the people this applies to
2) Since you don't punish people for crimes that they haven't been convicted of, you cannot ban President Trump from the ballot. He has not even been charged with it in all the indictments against him.

Also, people who entered the Capitol were allowed in by the Capitol Police, and most were peaceful. Not one of them had a gun!

SCOTUS is indicating CO has no authority throwing a wrench into other states attempts. Please keep up.

You are correct. When NO ONE was charged or convicted of insurrection and even the demoraps in congress are calling it what it was---a spontaneous RIOT. I don't need to argue with you ignoramuses. You make the argument against yourselves.
Then go away. Yes, it was an insurrection against the transfer of federal power. Look up the terms and definitions.

I have, you seem to disregard the points in those definitions that call for a clear overthrow and replacement of authority. Where were the replacement leaders, moron? Where was the clearly defined plan. Who were the leaders of your mislabeled riot? No answers--crickets. STFU and you can climb back under the rock you came out from under less than a year ago, Porky.

The replacement leader was Trump, as you well known.

Of course, Milley would have him apprehended and turned over to the US Marshals. If any secret service interferred, they would have died.

The lack of any real EVIDENCE of that indicates that those of you who claim you "saw" that suffer from head up the ass syndrome.
Interesting how those ballots that mysteriously appeared after midnight gave the swing states to Biden.
