That's biology you're arguing against. An acorn develops into an oak tree, not a pecan tree. A developing chicken develops into a chicken, not a frog. A caterpillar develops into a butterfly, not a zebra, and so on. In the same way, an unborn human develops into an adult human, not a yeti. It's biology.

That wasn't their core objection. The bottom line is, once an unborn child is targeted for death, the democrats are determined that child must die, even AFTER said child is born and is a full person, according to the same people wanting him/her to die.

At birth, major changes take place. The umbilical cord is clamped and the baby no longer receives oxygen and nutrients from the mother. With the first breaths of air, the lungs start to expand and the ductus arteriosus and the foramen ovale both close. The baby's circulation and blood flow through the heart now function like an adult's.

I'd like to see your source on that because I remember watching my son's delivery. He was breathing, screaming and peeing well before the cord was cut.
