Is there an institute or university in the USA that studies the legacy of the Great Reagan?
I know that there is a Reagan Foundation, but they are not engaged in scientific and educational activities, right?

There are plenty of books and publications that cover Reagan's life, his acting career, his time as governor, and his Presidency.
There are several books that deconstruct the myth of how great Reagan was.

While this country ran deficits at times during its existence, Reagan elevated deficit spending to an art form.
I consider him to be the father and architect of modern deficit spending and reckless tax cuts that has helped us
into the position we find ourselves today. Both sides getting blame since then.

Reagan gets the benefit of that "morning in America" nostalgia.
And that's what a lot of his legacy is...nostalgia.

Again, Reagan, like a certain someone who fell into the presidency long after him, was almost all smoke and mirrors.
He gets the benefit of wistful nostalgia.
