Zone1 Is there a reason besides desiring voter fraud/cheating to NOT have Voter ID?

Well, if she had won, that would pretty impressive, a woman of color getting elected in a country as misogynistic and racist as this one is.
Is the democrat party racist and anti female?

Kamala Harris was soundly rejected in the 2020 democrat primaries

She never made it to the primaries. The primaries were a contest between Joe and Bernie for the soul of the party.

Now, I talked to a LOT of Bernie supporters who eventually went on to support Trump, as bizarre as that is.

Well, yeah

Dem voters preferred a white male

Right?

A white male with 42 years of experience, including being Vice President.

So where was the problem the Democrats had. Since the 22nd Amendment kept them from having third terms, nearly every Vice-President has been the presumptive heir apparent.

Nixon, Humphry, Mondale, Bush, Gore, Biden and Harris. The only ones who didn't make a play for it were Rockefeller (who was never elected),Quayle (who was pretty much a national punchline), and Cheney (who was rightfully blamed for the Iraq War). I fully expect Vance to go up for the nomination in 2028.

Really, it would have been impossible to deny the nomination to Harris once Biden dropped out.

But the Democrats would have been far better served if that had been the result of a nomination process with Biden standing down after the 2022 midterms. (When he could have gone out on a high note.)

Now, it does beg the question, is America too misogynistic to have a woman president? No one sane could argue that Trump was more qualified or more suited either time he ran against a woman.

I've seen Harris and Hillary called "bitch", "Whore", "slut", and that word we aren't allowed to use on USMB. So, I would say, yes, misogyny was a factor.

Which word is not allowed?

The fact is that democrat voters are guilty of what you accuse conservatives of

Or, your claims are totally bogus for both

Begins with a C, which rhymes with "hunt".

Democrats came out for Harris when it counted.

Republicans voted for Trump knowing he was a failed president, is suffering from senile dementia, and is a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist.

Yes, protecting the right to vote.

We have a long history of voter suppression with schemes such as Poll Taxes and Literacy Tests.

The people least likely to have up to date ID are more likely to be poor or marginalized communities.
You mean the Democratic party has a long history of voter suppression. The record turn out in states like Georgia proves all of you loons are full of shit when it comes to voter ID stopping people from voting.

I'm sure you don't have an issue with Hilary calling Bills victims bitch whore and or slut. Unless you are a hypocrite ?

Except any new election is going to have "record turnout" because the size of the electorate keeps growing.

In the case of Georgia, people showed up because they knew it was a swing state.

Still doesn't mean that the vote wasn't suppressed.

I'm sure any woman would have choice words for women who were screwing around with her husband. Hillary's mistake was not contacting a divorce lawyer.

Alabama had a record turn out during one of it's midterm election. Alabama supplies free ID's they also has mobile units that travel to rural areas. Georgia also offers free ID's. So you are full of shit.

As always you loons fall into two categories. You are smart and know what you are claiming is bullshit or you are a dumbass who actually believes the lies the smart ones are feeding you.

Again, record turnout doesn't mean voter suppression isn't happening. the electorate grows in size every election.

You didn't answer the question. If all this voter fraud is going on, where are all the people claiming someone else cast their vote?
How rare would that be?

Most instances would be people who didn’t vote, voting.

But how would you know who that was?

You would have to know that person had no intention to vote before you stole his vote, and then hope that you could pass yourself off as that person. Would be really fucking awkward if you show up, and his neighbor is the person signing you in. Then you would have to forge his signature perfectly, so it matches whatever they have on file.

It’s all just an easy fix.

Hi! Wanna vote?
Please Show proof of ID.
Got it? Here ya go! Turn in your ballot over there, have a nice day!

Just like pretty much all other places that require ID.

No reason not to do it that way

Except poor people can't always easily get ID, but you don't want them voting anyway.. that's the WHOLE FUCKING POINT OF THIS.

Suppressing minority and poor voters before they vote to change things and upset your lily-white life.

You keep saying that, but you can’t prove it at all. I can prove how easy it is to get an ID though.

The rest of what your wrote is just mindless woke made-up fear mongering, no basis outside of your own feelings

I've posted several links that say otherwise.

IDs are regularly required in day-to-day life — from driving, to opening a bank account, getting a job, and, increasingly, voting. Yet, roughly one in eight adults in the United States (an estimated 30 million people) lack a driver’s license. What’s more, an estimated 15-18 million adults in the United States—more than the total population of Pennsylvania—do not have access to documents proving their birth or citizenship, which are often necessary to obtain an ID. These staggering numbers can be explained by system-level failures, which have created obstacles to getting and maintaining accurate IDs for many people.

Identity documents typically build upon each other. If a person lacks their birth certificate, for instance, it is harder to get a driver’s license. If they lack a driver’s license, it is harder to prove their identity to get an official copy of their birth certificate. These circular challenges and other barriers—including burdensome documentation requirements, prohibitive financial costs, limited availability of ID services, a confusing patchwork of policies, and discrimination—make it all the more difficult to acquire an ID.
