Is the best QB in this NFL Draft Spencer Rattler of the Chickens?

No doubt.
Congrats, you are the 1 in a 1,000.

Shough >>>>>> Rattler.

It's highly possible, barring injury to the starting QB, that Rattler will NEVER start another NFL game.

But you keep your Rattler dream alive.

Pavia signs with BAL.

Good spot for him. They need a good young developmental QB behind Lamar.
No guaranteed money. They signed the UConn QB to the same deal. Does anyone think they are carrying 4 QBs on their 53? They can cut one or both of these players in the preseason without cost. If they keep one he will have to look exceedingly good in training camp and preseason. Huntley is the entrenched backup and he’s not going anywhere. You’ve once again bet on a lame horse.

Yes, and of course you were "right" when you claimed Steve Walsh was better than Aikman...

Liar….. quote me on that nonsense you just made up about Walsh.

Just reflect on the Fact the Jets traded for Geno when they. Could have traded for Rattler but they chose Geno.

Pavia vs Drew Allar....

LOL!!!
Drew Allar has a better shot at making a roster than Pavia. The Ravens have zero invested in Pavia. They can cut him at any point and it costs them nothing. The Steelers have a 3rd round pick and whatever his signing bonus invested in Allar (probably about a million dollars) That's not a ton of capital but it's more than zero.

The other piece to this is Pavia is as good as he's ever going to be and has major physical limitations. He's 5'9" and runs a 4.76 40. He's not a dual threat QB in the NFL. DT's run that fast in the NFL. He's also 24 which is old for a rookie.

Allar while he didn't look amazing in college has all the physical traits, big, big arm. All the "cant coach" attributes you want in a QB. Maybe McCarthy can coach him up. Maybe not.

Either way Allar is a project QB the Steelers knew that when they drafted him. Pavia is a finished product.

The only thing that matters to you is the W-L record which you ascribe 100% to QB and 0% to the other players.

A 3 year starter at Penn State is a "project?" while a two year starter at Vandy is not, brilliant...

Interesting that statistically Allar appears to have gotten worse the more he played, a "negative learning curve."

Allar sucked in every big game he played in, deer in the headlights bad. Allar's offense against Ohio State two years ago put up 2 FGs the whole game. This year he sucked against Oregon. Then he got hurt.

He's a "project" alright.

Had Penn State grabbed Pavia instead of Vandy, they might have won everything the last two years....

Ok what does one have to do with the other? Drew Allar getting drafted in the 3rd by Pittsburgh has zero to do with whether or not Pavia will make the Raven's or any other NFL team's roster. No one has said Allar was a good QB in college. No one has said the Steelers drafting him in the 3rd was a good pick. In fact, I said it was a terrible pick. None of that changes Pavia's limitations, or that he likely won't make an NFL 53-man roster. The Steelers could cut Allar tmw and he could never play another down at any level and your take on Rattler last year and Pavia currently will still be terrible.

Maybe you dont understand what a project QB is. Someone who possesses all the tools to be a good QB, size, arm strength etc etc but hasnt produced is a project. Pavia is 2 years older, is wildly undersized and doesnt have a strong arm. He maximized his ability at Vandy. Good on him, but he doesnt have the tools to be an NFL QB.

The only person who's said that in this thread is you.

Rattler played over 2 seasons
1-13 record
On games that Carr started and games that Shough started, with the exact same team that Rattler started with.
Carr and Shough went 10-10

So, argue the .500 record for Carr and Shough

Facts.

Don’t worry he won’t

There they go again...

Vince Young won the game 17-14, nevermind the Titan offense had 5 first downs and the three scores were....

a pick 6 by PacMan
a PR for TD by PacMan
and a short FG where PacMan ran the kickoff back inside the red zone and Vince Young and the O went three and out....
