i read what bucannan wrote and I disagree

No informed person ever claimed that Hong Kong was not part of china

The Brits had a 99 year lease on HK that expired in 1997 and thus it was peacefully returned to communist china

But china reneged on its promise to allow HK to keep it democratic system of government for 50 years

Taiwan on the other hand has been self governing since 1945 and does not want to be part of communist china

If I was President this is what I would do.

I would plan a trip to Asia and meet with our allies. I would visit the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Australia and make a stop in Taiwan.

I would have one of our aircraft carriers meet me in Taiwan. While there I would announce a joint training exercise between Taiwan and the US Army. Training for our military is always good.

If the Chinese don't like it then they can kiss my Cracker ass. Since they did not make my family rich like the did the Bidens then they are not the boss of me (or my country).

The best way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them.
