You're claiming advanced automation creates more jobs. I'm asking you how that's the case.
If a machine runs on software and AI repairs the code, debugging the software, allowing the machine to function properly, that is indeed a repair. Moreover, if the AI can run scheduled maintenance operations regularly then that constitutes maintenance. That's exactly what AI is doing today with CNC machines.
If the government supports people financially because your beloved free-market can't provide for their needs, then that's socialism saving capitalism, because without that government program, the economy would collapse due to social unrest. People need to eat and have a roof over their heads, and if capitalism can't meet those basic needs, requiring the government to support people with public funds, then that's a failure of capitalism.
The reason economists and the wealthy ruling class are promoting UBI or "Universal Basic Income" is because they recognize that advanced automation and artificial intelligence leads to mass unemployment hence people need an income to survive under capitalism. If the government provides people with an income because capitalism can't, that's a vivid example of socialism subsidizing capitalism.
