They are doing the dirty work on behalf of China and to a lesser extent Russia. Just as China funds Russia against Ukraine, all to keep the U.S busy.

The objective in "war" is to inflict so much pain that the adversary accepts the terms of surrender. Killing a couple levels of top management was not enough for these religious fanatics. A different approach is warranted. After we bomb the shit out of them (again).

Iran will look for the first excuse to sabotage any deal, we could have saved ourselves billions of dollars and months of fooling around to realize that so long as Iran has any kind of functioning military and government, they will be nothing but an irascible thorn in our side.

The world stood by for 47 years jerking off to the real danger of a terrorist state having direct control over a major portion of the global oil supply because they were blinded by their greed, and now the USA is supposed to go in there and foot the bill again?
