What has the war with Iran cost the USA so far?

That is brilliant. "thats the way wars are dipshit....not just your boogeymans wars...'
You have to be kidding me. Like everything, there is efficiency of spend. Goals of war and the cost. You take the cost and compare what has been accomplished and determine if the spend was worth it. All wars cost a lot of money but you compare that to accomplishments and dtermine efficiency of spend. Some wars are much more of a waste of cost than others. It is possible a war could be worth the cost and more. The cost is money and lives.
Recent wars, it is hard to justify any were worth it.
no war is worth it elmer....why dont you know this?....

Just because you are unaware of what you were robbed of doesn't mean you weren't.

Here are some of the consequences of endless war.

  • Persistent Output Loss: A cumulative GDP decline of about 12% over ten years. This significantly exceeds losses from financial crises or natural disasters.
  • Fiscal Instability: Governments shift to short-term debt and monetize deficits. This has led to a >60% rise in consumer prices over the last decade.
  • Opportunity Costs: M1 is affected drastically. Funds diverted to military spending crowd out investment in social sectors; $1 spent in Iraq yields a lower economic multiplier than the same amount spent on domestic infrastructure or healthcare in the United States.
  • The global economic impact of The War Against Terror (****) is about $20T. U.S. post-9/11 war costs alone have reached $5.9 trillion, with interest payments projected to reach $8 trillion by 2053.
12 years huh, yeah biden has plenty to do with that too and covid which has nothing to do with the president

I agree. What about WWII? I don't know.
Humans cannot learn, all through history, ridiculous wars. So many lives lost.
simple, somebody gets into power, gets greedy, wants more, other places say no to being taken over so they take it by force

spoils of war......land, resources, gems, gold and of course fresh new slaves

Romans, Persians, mongrels to name a few

I want what you have and if you can't defend it.........I take it and add it to my trophy display

Plus so many are about religion.
No matter who your god is, I am confident God does not these wars.
I guess it is greedy power hungary humans using god but so many buy in because of religion.

not wrong, taking over an area with a different belief and culture and making it yours is part of the goal
along with manpower, natural resources, strategic defense for those who want to take it away from you

start taking land you open yourself to others who think you over extended and can't be in all place
so a good time to do a smash and grab of that land
hard to get, hard to maintain and defend too
