What has the war with Iran cost the USA, so far? Iran has the same horrific regime. Iran has enriched uranium. Iran has learned the strength of closing the straits of Hormuz. It is a new strength they have realized. It is not a nuclear bomb but a great power Despite the majority of their military being destroyed, they have the capabilities of keeping the straits closed. The estimated costs per tax payer is around $1000. That does not include the increased costs of gasoline, diesel and fertilizer used in our food supplies. Inflation has almost doubled since the war started.

Where the Money Has Gone

CategoryApproximate Cost Driver
Precision strike weaponsBillions
Missile defense (Patriot, THAAD, SM-3)Billions
Aircraft carrier groupsHundreds of millions to billions
Air Force operations (fighters, tankers, bombers)Hundreds of millions
Replacing damaged equipment and facilitiesBillions
Logistics, fuel, maintenanceBillions

Missile Defense: The Biggest Surprise CostIran's strategy relied heavily on missiles and drones. Defending against them is expensive.

A Patriot interceptor costs roughly $4 million each.
A THAAD interceptor costs roughly $12–13 million each.
The U.S. reportedly used a significant portion of its THAAD inventory during the conflict.

One reason costs mounted so quickly is that relatively cheap Iranian drones sometimes required very expensive interceptors to shoot them down.

Tomahawk Cruise Missiles

The U.S. Navy fired hundreds of long-range precision weapons.
A Tomahawk cruise missile costs roughly $2 million.
CSIS estimated that Tomahawk expenditures alone represented a major portion of the early war costs.

I have no problem with money spent to help the US. But look at money and lives spent on wars that did not help the US at all or not worth the cost in money and lives.
Trump aggressively criticized Bush for Iraq. Iraq was a success based on what has happened with Iran, so far. They need shut Trump the f##k up and let intelligent people turn around what he has totally f##ked up. F##k should only be used when you are desperate to emphasize.

Trump and his cult were looking at the government ledger when Biden was president.

Trump and his cult were looking at the government ledger with he hired Musk and these retards.

It has humiliated All America and has given further impetus to a loss of respect and ridicule for a country which has now consecutively had Age Retards in charge .

As have other countries all at the same time ---- almost as though there is an organised conspiracy of some sort being played Theatrically .

The USA when it comes to spending money to defend, attack and help other countries for freedom is a huge ballsack of our great military complex and so many other factors

you, me and nobody is going to be better than a flea on a dogs ass to change that

it is what it is.......no sense in anybody pondering or causing you stress, it's way......WAY out of our hands

we can watch like we are at a football game........we are not the coach, we don't dictate........we can only watch it happen

you and me are spectators, nothing more......we ***** the next day our team lost because of a blown call, that is all we can do......complain, nothing more

And what, so far, has been gained outside of Trump looking like an idiot?

I literally couldn't agree more. Let's export every, single Zionist in Washington D.C. They should live in the country that they love the most.

Just because you are unaware of what you were robbed of doesn't mean you weren't.

Here are some of the consequences of endless war.

  • Persistent Output Loss: A cumulative GDP decline of about 12% over ten years. This significantly exceeds losses from financial crises or natural disasters.
  • Fiscal Instability: Governments shift to short-term debt and monetize deficits. This has led to a >60% rise in consumer prices over the last decade.
  • Opportunity Costs: M1 is affected drastically. Funds diverted to military spending crowd out investment in social sectors; $1 spent in Iraq yields a lower economic multiplier than the same amount spent on domestic infrastructure or healthcare in the United States.
  • The global economic impact of The War Against Terror (****) is about $20T. U.S. post-9/11 war costs alone have reached $5.9 trillion, with interest payments projected to reach $8 trillion by 2053.

This also doesn't account for materiel losses in the tens of billions. More than 40 US aircraft have been lost or severely damaged in the war so far.
The Pentagon estimates damage to US bases, particularly early warning systems at ~$30B. Total damage to all materiel sits around $34B

Trump’s failed, illegal war of choice wasted billions of dollars and scores of lives for no good cause.

You mean other than preventing Iran from getting a nuclear bomb, as well as preventing them from attacking our troops in the region thanks to Israel’s actions?

thats the way wars are dipshit....not just your boogeymans wars...
That is brilliant. "thats the way wars are dipshit....not just your boogeymans wars...'
You have to be kidding me. Like everything, there is efficiency of spend. Goals of war and the cost. You take the cost and compare what has been accomplished and determine if the spend was worth it. All wars cost a lot of money but you compare that to accomplishments and dtermine efficiency of spend. Some wars are much more of a waste of cost than others. It is possible a war could be worth the cost and more. The cost is money and lives.
Recent wars, it is hard to justify any were worth it.

What has the war with Iran cost the USA, so far?
Not to mention what it has cost in what remained of our global standing. Credibility. Influence. Respect.

Not only has Trump somehow managed to alienate us EVEN MORE from our former friends, he has made America the first country to completely destroy another country's military AND STILL have to give them all kinds of goodies to get out of a war.

How is that even POSSIBLE?

That has to be some kind of goddamn MIRACLE.
