(1). No treaty is binding on the U.S. unless and until it is ratified by 2/3 of the U.S. Senate. The Iran Nuclear Deal was never ratified by the Senate, therefore it was never binding on the U.S., or, by implication, on Iran.
(2). Iran has NO REASON to be enriching uranium. They are situated on an ocean of fuel and couldn't care less about their carbon footprint. If they build a nuclear power plant, they can easily trade their oil for nuclear fuel. They don't need to make their own. The ROW should have drawn a figurative line in the sand, and absolutely forbidden Iran to enrich uranium, as they had no legitimate reason to do so.
(3). Signing an agreement that granted Iran, in time, the right to enrich uranium to weapons-grade purity was a HUGE, stupid mistake by the Soetoro Administration, which was too weak to WALK AWAY FROM THE TABLE when they could not negotiate a tenable deal.
(4) Mr Biden lacks the balls to stand up to Iran. To go and grovel before them and try to get their permission to re-enter the non-treaty would make us look even foolisher than some of the weird shit that The Donald has done.
