What do you believe is "the government"? It is the people who are employed, and each of them takes the oath to support and defend the Constitution.

Trump has a long, long history of quasi-legal and out and out extortion in his business tactics, his bankruptcy scams, and the refusal of American banks to lend to him. While Trump was losing billions of dollars, filing for bankruptcy, and abusing the legal system with over 3000 lawsuits, he promoted himself as a "self-made billionaire" and succesful businessman. He was and is none of those things. And the media gave him a complete pass on all of these lies, in part because everything about Trump's finances are private.

I've followed Trump's career since the 1970's, and he's always operated in a thugish and criminal manner. He has a few standard cons which have been very effective, and very destructive, leaving his marks bankrupt, or deeply in debt. What do you believe is "the government"? It is the people who are employed, and each of them takes the oath to support and defend the Constitution.

Yea, we didn't catch him red handed in the Russia thing sort of like we didn't catch OJ killing Ron and Nicole. But we did catch OJ in a hotel room with a gun and so he went to jail for it.
