As far as I know, all of the people picked up for January 6th have either stood trial, or are awaiting trial.

That said, I do feel as if the American justice system (in general, not just for this case) has somewhat lost sight of the "Speedy Trial" part of the Sixth Amendment. It seems as if it either makes defendants wait a long time for resolution, or really waters down the deterrent quality of a sentencing.
