We are experiencing a systemic shift in the U.S. government that goes beyond standard politics. It’s a transition from a government "for the people, by the people, and of the people" to an Imperial Legacy State.

The "Versailles effect" vs the people:

The administration is funneling millions into vanity projects while gutting the survival systems of the citizenry.

  • The Glitter: $1 billion for a White House ballroom, $15 million for a Triumphal Arch in Arlington, and $14 million to paint the Lincoln Reflecting Pool "American Blue"—ruining its actual reflective physics.

  • The gutting: Simultaneous cuts to SNAP (Food Stamps), WIC (Infant Nutrition), and Medicaid. The "Bread" is being stolen to pay for the "Circuses" to draw a parallel with Rome.

They are building a classic Potemkin Village.

A "triumphal arch", a fancy ballroom, golden statues to "dear leader", painting the reflection pool blue, (which BTW will defeat it's purpose by making it less reflective) while the infrastructure of the country is being hollowed out. HHS and CDC have been dismantled. Outbreak tracking for measles and cruise ship diseases has been "reorganized" into oblivion just as cases hit a 30-year high. The repeal of the "Endangerment Finding" legally absolves the government of protecting citizens from pollution. They aren't just ignoring climate change; they are legalizing it.

And they are "closing the circle" around us. The legal route for dissent is being welded shut by the capture of the courts.

Loyalism over Originalism: This isn't about conservative philosophy; it’s about Fealty. The push to replace elderly justices with young "loyalists" ensures the judiciary acts as a sword for the Executive rather than a shield for the People.

The "Unitary Executive": New judicial appointments are prioritizing a "King-like" version of the Presidency that claims total immunity and absolute control over the civil service.

I believe that this is deliberate:
When you remove the bread (food), the health (medicine), and the referees (courts), you leave the public with only one remaining door.

By closing all peaceful and legal valves, the current *administration is deliberately courting a violent reaction. This allows them to justify the invocation of the Insurrection Act and total suppression of dissent.

We are past the point of political disagreement. We are in the "Let them eat cake" phase of history—where the ruling class has become so detached from the struggle of the people that they’ve turned the country into a branding exercise.

Bottom Line: The social contract has been breached. The government has stopped acting as a protector and started acting as a predator, trading the survival of the many for the monuments of the one.

The question is will we stand for it?

All good solid projects that will create demand for raw materials and solid blue collar jobs, as opposed to grafting social "safetynet" boondoggles that spend more money on paying useless drones than actually helping people.

Funny how the left is concerned that we are not being governed by the will of the people, yet with nearly an 80% support and demand by the people, from both sides of the aisle, for the SAVE Act, every democrat has said they will not comply with the will of the people.

Now, be a good little subject by putting on your mask, huddling in place and believing every word your globalist masters tell you as absolute gospel.

Explain. These are "no bid" contracts let to his buddies. How does that help the American public?
